Only four months into 2014, it already feels like we’re living in the Year of the Collaboration, with a new one sprouting up every day. Today brings news of one more, A.P.C. and Nike‘s fifth run, and details of Pharrell‘s capsule line for Uniqlo.
Nike and A.P.C.’s latest collaboration, a navy take on the Air Max 1, hits stores and online this Thursday. Priced at $120, the sneaker will be available for men and women. Judging by the success of their previous collections, this one is going to go fast.
Pharrell is using his platform at Uniqlo to draw attention to fashion’s big diversity problem. His 26-piece “i am OTHER” collaboration with the retailer is a celebration of otherness with slogans like “The Same is Lame.” Because this is a Pharrell collection, that sentiment comes stitched into an array of hats as well. Available for men and women, the collaboration drops April 14th.
