April 19th is the 20th anniversary of Nas' Illmatic, and next Tuesday, the seminal hip-hop record is being reissued. To celebrate, Google Play brought together a bunch of characters, including Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Nas himself and more, to discuss the rapper's 1994 debut in a new 15-minute video. "I think it encouraged a lot more people at that time, and now even, to feel free to speak about whatever they're feeling without feeling like they're going to come down on you for not being tough," Nas says of the legacy of his landmark record. "Even a gangster cries." #Sad #Rap forever.
