Jon Hopkins’ New Edit of “We Disappear” Might Be Even Better Than the Original

Lulu James jumped on Jon Hopkins’ soulful new edit of Immunity Track “We Disappear.”

May 01, 2014

It's been almost a year since Jon Hopkins dropped a new record, but 2013's Immunity was so immaculately detailed that we're still turning over new things each time we revisit it. Today, he dropped a new edit of the opening track, "We Disappear," rendering the original synth hook massively more awe-inspiring with the addition of a new, minor second chord. Oh, and Lulu James' vocal cameo sounds opera-big. The new edit will be out in 12-inch format via Domino on June 30th, with a Moderat remix on the flip. Tourdates below.
