Young Scooter's seemed particularly gloomy following last year's six-month prison stint for probation violation (during which he allegedly shared a cell with Free Bricks 2 collaborator Gucci Mane). But he arrives revived on his two latest tracks, both of which appear on Swamp Izzo's new compilation tape, VVS 4. "Hector" picks up where his breakout "Colombia" left off, revisiting his favorite plug and his metric tons of cocaine. Then there's the matter-of-factly titled "Drugs," featuring a molly-guzzling Young Thug; Scooter still sounds relatively stoic for someone on a buffet of intoxicants, but it's a start.
