The last we heard from Gunplay, Maybach Music's most under-utilized member, he was telling Nardwuar about his plans to build a bomb shelter. Maybe he's been camping out there—it's been a minute since he's dropped new music, and his Living Legend album remains without a release date. He's finally shared a new video, though oddly enough, it's for "187 Freestyle," a cut from his fun 2012 mixtape 601 & Snort. It's a West coast affair: over the instrumental from Dre and Snoop's "Deep Cover," he storms through Watts, California's Nickerson Garden projects. If you're in the New York area tomorrow and feel as though your life will be incomplete until you see Gunplay alongside Napalm Death, he'll be performing at Red Bull Music Academy's Hardcore Activity In Progress in Queens.
