It's been 24 days since Badgalriri was shut down by Instagram after posting pictures from her topless shoot for LUI magazine and we're still mourning the loss. Apparently, so is Scout Willis, the daughter of Bruce and Demi Moore and occasional sultry singer, who has recently made it her personal cause to challenge Instagram's strict nudity policies. For Willis, her issue with Instagram started when the social app banned her for posting a pic of a sweatshirt with a graphic of two topless women. To be clear, she wasn't topless -- the item she shared was. Willis' next move was to strut down the streets of NYC and go flower shopping while topless -- unlike on Instagram, it's perfectly legal in the city -- and post pictures of her excursion via Twitter with the caption, "What @instagram won't let you see #FreeTheNipple." As you can imagine, Rihanna is on board with Willis' campaign. After Willis posted her topless pictures to Twitter and changed her avatar to Rihanna's LUI magazine cover, Riri caught wind of the campaign and echoed Willis' thoughts, tweeting "FREE THE NIPPLE." Nipple jokes aside, both ladies bring up valid points about the questionable practices of Instagram's censorship and the damage that mentality can cause to society as a whole. Willis also tweeted, "This is about helping women feel empowered to make personal choices about their bodies not dictated by what society says is decent." While you marinate on that, check our round-up of stars who've artfully gone topless. #FreeTheNipple.
