Raindrops bounce off what sounds like a—very possibly hot—tin roof in the intro to London producer Mumdance's collab with Rinse FM's Spyro. "Don't Get Lemon", from Mumdance's forthcoming EP on Rinse due out June 16th, is a feast of aural tidbits— gelatinous wobbles, warm vrooms, digital rustles and all. It has its fare share of drama too, a central melody coiling skyward with Game of Thrones-style panache. Mumdance plays Lit City Trax's RBMA party tonight at The Westway in NYC, alongside DJ Marfox, DJ Deeon, DJ Manny B2B RP Boo, J-Cush, UNIIQU3 B2B DJ Tiga and Durban. Now, that's a line-up. Plus, The Era Footworkers will also be attendance, putting all those sonic angles into context. Check the pretty fierce poster below.
