Introducing The FADER’s 2014 Summer Music Issue: Lana Del Rey, Ty Dolla $ign, Popcaan and Sam Smith

Read all of The FADER 92’s cover stories right now.

For our 2014 Summer Music issue, which you can pre-order here, we decided that two cover stories just weren't enough. The issue hits newsstands on July 1st, but we've been releasing its four cover story features on Lana Del Rey, Ty Dolla $ign, Popcaan and Sam Smith over the last week. Today, they're all available to read online: in a hotel room in West Berlin, The FADER's executive editor Jessica Robertson had an intimate conversation with Sam Smith about unrequited love and being himself, New York writer Julianne Escobedo Shepherd crossed the country to party with ladies' man Ty Dolla $ign in LA, and Jesse Serwer flew down to Jamaica for an unruly week with dancehall's brightest, Popcaan. Last but certainly not least, senior editor Duncan Cooper hung out with Lana Del Rey in Brooklyn for what is maybe her most revealing interview yet. Grab these essential summer stories below.
