Don Trip's "Wake Up" Steps Strong in the Right Direction

A XXL Freshman alumni of the 2012 Class, Don Trip still raps with the same agitated yet graceful flow that caught him initial buzz. Though he hasn't topped "Letter to My Son," The Memphis-based rapper has found recent success teaming with fellow Tennessee MC Starlito for their Step Brothers series. "Wake Up" finds Don without his rapping partner, but the strain of his voice and the ominous production from Roj and Twinkle still make this a great song to start or the daily grind.
