Watch Lana Del Rey’s Video for Ultraviolence”Track "Shades “f Cool"

Her new full-length, Ultraviolence, is out today.

Lana Del Rey—the polarizing pop star who's on the cover of our current Summer Music issue—just dropped a video for "Shades Of Cool," a track from her widescreen new full-length, Ultraviolence. It's all very 1970s-era California: bad green screens, chlorinated backyard pools, convertibles on palm tree-lined avenues, some acid-trip visuals. It's not as bleak as the "West Coast" video but it's certainly melodramatic and once again pairs LDR with an older gentleman. Watch it above, and then read Duncan Cooper's cover story, "Lana Del Rey Is Anyone She Wants to Be," right here.
