Cassette Kings MJMJ to release the Brooklyn artist’s new solo tape.

FADER PREMIERE

The next release from the perpetually-on-a-roll Minneapolis tape label MJMJ comes from Many Mansions, the form-shifting alias of Brooklyn-via-Boston artist Chang Dhan Ali. The cassette is called Night Sesh and it's being billed as "cyber space psychedelia," which feels accurate, particularly when watching the video for "Mirror Shadows," which pairs Ali's lysergic lo-fi beats with primitive computer-generated animations that look like they're from the late '90s, which is like a century ago in internet years. You can purchase (for $4.20 as always lol), download and stream the tape over at Bandcamp.
