Gearing up for the release of his Street Lights EP and for the love of free music, Vic Mensa's released a new and unapologetic sex electro-jam called "Major Payne." Produced by frequent collaborator Michael Uzowuru, more sung-than-rapped and with a rattling bass line and twinkling synths coursing throughout, it sounds almost in the vein of Jeremih. And aside from a single mention of Damon Wayans, it's got nothing to do with the 1995 comedy. Mensa's certainly come a long way since the "Orange Soda" days, and it's not a bad thing. Street Lights is expected to be out sometime this summer. For more on the rapper who says "Mainly, I just wanna take shit over," read Dan Hyman's recent profile of him for FADER.
