Seattle producer and Beat Construction alum Sango just dropped a collaborative EP with rapper Waldo. It’s more straightforward hip-hop than the genre-bending Brazillian bounce of Sango’s Da Rochina series, but his eclectic samples and rich drums still propel Waldo to rattle off some strong bars across the five tracks. “Just something to let you know that we still love music,” the producer offered briefly of the project–not that any of us would doubt it. If you’re in New York, catch Sango headlining at Glasslands on August 15th, and supporting Kaytranada on tour through the rest of the summer.
