Watch a Suicide in Reverse in The Bots’ “No One Knows” Video

Check out the official video for the West Coast brother duo’s recent single.

Earlier this year, The Bots brothers released country/folk-inflected stand-alone single "No One Knows" (they also performed a stripped-down version of it in the backseat of a car in Texas, which you can watch below). In a blog post about the single I noted The Bots sounded more world-weary than ever, and that certainly comes across in this new official video—directed by LA-based filmmaker Alexi Papalexopoulos—in which we watch a woman's suicide unfold in reverse. It starts with an underwater shot, presumably from the woman's perspective after leaping off a towering rock face, and ends in her kitchen as she pens a note. It's interspersed with shots of the duo, Anaiah and Mikaiah Lei, performing the song in some scenic settings, like on the side of a sand dune and inside a house full of dusky natural light. The Bots' Sincerely Sorry EP is out now and their debut full-length is due later this year.
