Listen to Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap” Remixed by Hippie Sabotage

The brother duo offer up a pitch-warped edit of the British singer’s hit.

FADER PREMIERE

Charli XCX's love-drunk "Boom Clap" is a hit, maybe because of its connection to teenage tearjerker The Fault In Our Stars, or maybe because the British singer is finally stepping into the mega-pop realm we anticipated for her when she was still a teenager. Today, her track gets a remix by brother duo Hippie Sabotage, who pitch-shift the hell out of the her voice (up on the verses, down for the hook) and add their particular brand of wonky, after-hours production. The edit will appear on a collection of "Boom Clap" Remixes that's out July 29th via Neon Gold/Atlantic. Below, watch Charli perform "SuperLove" at The FADER FORT Preview Party this past spring.
