Listen to T-Pain’s Brief But Surprisingly Bare Ballad, “Look Like Him”

Last month, T-Pain stopped by the FADER office with kind words for former FADER cover star FKA Twigs and "hundreds" of songs he's recorded for his upcoming album, Stoicville: The Phoenix. He's since shared one of the songs that really blew us away, "Look Like Him," with the world wide. Clocking in at just under three-minutes, the ballad makes up for its brevity by going long on real talk. It's surprisingly, and endearingly, honest: Baby, I can look in the mirror and see that I'm not the best looking man in the world/ But if you can look past that you'll see that I'm the type of man who takes care of his girl. "Look Like Him" is one of the "journal entries" that will appear on Stoicville in place of skits. Hit play above, then revisit Matthew Trammell's recent interview with T-Pain.
