Stream the Atlanta-based songwriter’s new four-song EP, out now on Stratosfear Recordings.

We've already heard "Bluets" and the title track, and now you can stream Thrown Color, the new EP from multi-instrumentalist David Courtright aka Suno Deko, in its entirety. The four-song release uses simple, expected elements to make you feel something—guitars with reverb, elemental melodic passages, strings, keys—and it works. The closing track, "Deliver," is a special song; it's a big-hearted, stereo-panned sad dream with a lilting melody that sounds a little bit like "The Funeral" by Band of Horses, and emotively sung lines like I would tear the stars down for your love, which could be sappy, but just aren't. Thrown Color was mastered by Foxes in Fiction's Warren Hildebrand and is out now on Stratosfear. For more, read Courtright's book recommendations in a recent edition of our What We're Reading column.
