FADER PREMIERE

Following the release of the endearingly overcast "Meet Me In The Park," Brooklyn's Chris Masullo aka Nicholas Nicholas is getting ready to put out a full-length cassette. "Wrong circles around some unfortunate truths," Masullo says of the full-length project over e-mail. "'Cave' is at its center in a way." The song he's talking about, streaming below, has a world-swallowing, shoegaze-y sadness that borders on gothic, something like a super slow-motion outtake from JAMC's Psychocandy. The existential-feeling second half of "Cave" could easily pop up in the background of a Gregg Araki flick, while a sexually-confused protagonist silently wonders, "What's the point?" Wrong is out Aug 19th via Miscreant Records; you can pre-order the cassette over at the the label's Bandcamp page.
