Alex Mullins Mixes Motorcycle Gangs and Malibu Trailer Parks in Spring '15 Collection

It's no secret that we're huge fans of Alex Mullins here at The Fader. With inspiration for his past collections ranging from the apocalypse to a decidedly femme twist on the Wild West, we thought our obsession had reached its peak...that is, until he dropped the lookbook for his exquisite spring 2015 collection. For this season, Alex built a fantasy world in which a Native American motorcycle gang reside in a Malibu trailer park, customizing their hand-me-downs from past generations to chronicle their own unique journey. Even with a collection that is focused on worn-in and cherished pieces that have been simply affected by age and time, the collection could not feel more relevant thanks to Mullin's flawless attention to detail. Faded graphics printed onto baseball shirts pair perfectly with the extreme-cuffed light-wash denim jeans and the tongue-in-cheek appliqués with a surplus of raw edges that read "I'm Not Sochi" and "Tina Turn Around" on the tops add the fun factor to the collection. Can't front, Mullins's designs have us wishing this fictitious Native American motorcycle gang would cruise into town and enlighten us with their repurposed fashion steez.
