Woman's Hour Teams up with Dublin Producer REID On "Tarnished"

FADER PREMIERE

Playing call and response with herself, Fiona Burgess from London band Woman's Hour whips up a quiet storm of vocal layers that envelope the senses on this soothing collaboration with Dublin producer REID. The opening guitar line owes much to The xx but it soon sinks into REID's mesh-like percussion and drone-y feedback. This video's pretty lovely too, featuring a young tattooed woman making charcoal drawings that echo both the illustrations on her body and the flow of the song. "Tarnished" is out August 4th, and REDI's Fractures EP—which also features this single—is out August 11th on M: UK.
