FADER PREMIERE
Pictures Music, the London label responsible for putting out early releases from young producers like Koreless and Lapalux, has a new guy on the books. He's called William Arcane and he makes happily scrappy songs with an earnest heart. His latest, "Stay A While," sends emotionally frayed vocals across pinball beats and scattered percussion—all that layering makes the tapestry-sampling artwork above feel very apt. It's a little all over the place but that's its charm. Apparently there's a new EP on the way later this year, but you can stay a while with this one for now (sorry).
