Chicago MC Mick Jenkins Hustles Expensive Water in his “Jazz” video

Mick Jenkins shares the video for his latest single Jazz from his upcoming full-length

Rising Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins has issued a series of knotty, concept-heavy slow jams over the past couple of years, but next week he'll release his latest full-length statement called The Water[s]. In an interview with Billboard, Jenkins says the mixtape will largely revolve around the titular liquid and its associations with truth and life—associations that are made explicit in a new video for his single "Jazz." In the Nathan R. Smith-directed clip, a small town's water supply is managed by Jenkins-led monopoly, who charges an exorbitant amount for just a small cup. It takes a tween on a bike to liberate the people from their oppressor, and give the people their desperately needed H20. Watch the video above. The Water[s] is out on August 12.
