Two In Freddie Gibbs’ Crew Shot After Brooklyn Show

“They tried to kill Tupac. They tried to kill me. I’m still alive.”

Freddie Gibbs was the apparent target of a shooting that took place following his show at Rough Trade in trendy Williamsburg last night. According to the New York Post, the rapper was shot at by a lone gunman around 1 A.M. while he was waiting in a black SUV outside the venue. He was uninjured, but two men believed to be a part of his entourage suffered minor injuries and were taken to Bellevue hospital in New York City. No arrests have been made. "They tried to kill Tupac. They tried to kill me," he told a Post reporter who was on the scene. "I'm still alive." He reiterated that message on Instagram this morning with a photo caption that assured, “still livin'" (below). FADER has reached out to Gibbs' camp, and is awaiting comment.

Yep. Still Livin. Thanks NYC.
