Earlier today, Highsnobiety reported that Wu-Tang Clan-affiliated producer Cilvaringz seemingly confirmed on a Wu-Tang message board that Skrillex shelled out a whopping $5 million to purchase the Wu's notoriously exclusive and expensive album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Not quite, though: Skrillex's reps have confirmed to FADER that Sonny Moore himself did NOT cough up 5,000,000 big ones for the record. Oh well.
Wu-Tang's other, more easily purchasable album, A Better Tomorrow, is out tomorrow, December 2, via Warner Bros.
