TMZ reports that the Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye was arrested over the weekend after an altercation at Las Vegas' Cromwell Hotel. Law enforcement sources claim that an altercation at the Cromwell broke out around 4:20 a.m., and when cops arrived, one of them pulled Tesfaye into an elevator, at which point Tesfaye allegedly punched the cop in the head and was taken to jail for battery of a protected person. No word as of yet what came of the incident, but looks like Tesfaye was allowed to leave the city, judging by the below Instagram:
