Suge Knight Rushed To Hospital After Court Appearance

Rushed to hospital following panic attack.

February 03, 2015

UPDATE 2/4/15 5:02 p.m.: Wow, this keeps getting darker: TMZ reports that Knight's hospital visit was due to a intense physical reaction from a potentially fatal blood clot. The clot apparently formed when he was shot six times last summer; he's been moved to Long Beach Hospital and put on blood thinners, and is handcuffed to the bed under 24/7 watch.

UPDATE 2/4/15 9:54 a.m. The AP reports that Knight is still in the hospital following yesterday's plea. His attorney David Kenner hasn't offered an update on his client's condition but has stated Knight's innocence to the AP: "[Knight] feels bad that somebody that he knew is deceased...it's not his fault."

UPDATE 2/3/15 1:59 p.m.: ABC 7 in L.A. reports that gunshots were fired one block from the courthouse Knight entered a plea at; no word as of yet as to whether incidents are related.

TMZ reports that Suge Knight was rushed to the hospital earlier today after entering a "Not Guilty" plea on murder charges related to the death of his friend, Terry Carter. Law enforcement sources claim that he suffered a panic attack after returning to the courtroom's lockup area following the plea. If convicted, Knight stands to face life in prison. As we reported yesterday, his $2 million bail has been revoked.
