Converse, privy to the gritty glory of well-worn kicks, has elevated a slew of dirty and custom sneakers to an artistic level in their spring campaign. Comissioning beat up Chucks from the likes of Patti Smith and Lee Spielman of Trash Talk, Converse has captured the essence of each owner through a series of still-life portraits entitled "Made By You." The entire photo series will be displayed in an open-to-the-public exhibit at Flatiron Plaza in NYC today, March 2nd, through Saturday, March 7th.
