According to a report from TV Wise, FOX is close to greenlighting a new season of the fucking X-Files, because everything is good and right in this world. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson (our forever crush) have both signed on to reignite their Mulder/Scully chemistry for a short-stack season (according to various reports, somewhere between six and ten). According to TV Wise, "the revival is aimed to close out the lingering storylines left by the series proper, which, much to the dismay of fans, were left unresolved by the second feature film I Want To Believe." Sources claim FOX is planning to make a "big announcement" ahead of the upfronts in May. FOX did not respond to TV Wise's requests for comment, but we will: OMFG please let this happen.
