The long-gestating Tupac Shakur biopic, which was supposed to begun production this summer, has been put on pause according to director John Singleton. "We're trying to figure out some things," he explained in an interview with XXL, adding emphatically that, "We've got to get it right." Although he has the script and the family's approval, he says that the project is a "very intimidating one" because "the picture is not going to be good unless it's offensive to some people." But, he assures, "It's going to be something that potentially adorns 'Pac's legacy."
