Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Durk Honor Freddie Gray With New Single, “Pressure”

This will hold you over while waiting for Durk’s debut album.

Lil Durk recently announced that at long last, his debut album will appear on June 2nd. In advance of that release, he also shows up to handle hook duties on "Pressure," a new song from Lil Uzi Vert. The brass-heavy tune, produced by DJ L, joins a growing number of hip-hop tracks using horns for added bombast—see the Vic Mensa/Kanye collaboration "U Mad" if you need a primer on the power of the horn section. Uzi addresses recent police brutality in Baltimore: "They try to make my race extinct," he raps, later adding "rest in peace Freddie Gray." Check out the track below.
