Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj made history as the first woman ever to place 4 songs in the top 10 of Billboard's Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Chart at the same time. (The only two dudes to match her feat? Her "Truffle Butter" partners-in-crime Drake and Lil Wayne.) Since she's basically conquered music, it's about time she lend her talents to film. Variety reported yesterday that Minaj will appear in Barbershop 3 as Draya "the sassy new hairdresser," alongside Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer, who have anchored the series since its inception in 2002. It's been over a decade since Barbershop 2, but everyone knows Hollywood is obsessed with sequels. No word yet on when the new film is due out. Minaj made her live-action on-screen debut last year in The Other Woman with Cameron Diaz.
