Miley Cyrus’s #InstaPride Highlights Stories “Of Transgender And Gender Expansive People”

In Paper Magazine’s summer cover story, Miley Cyrus refused to pin down her sexuality. “I don't relate to being boy or girl,” she said, “and I don't have to have my partner relate to boy or girl." Today she announced that she’s working Instagram on #InstaPride, “to share stories of transgender and gender expansive people from around the country.” (It’s an offshoot of her Happy Hippie campaign, which raises money for “vulnerable populations.”) Not long after launching #InstaPride, Cyrus shared the first story on her Instagram—learn more about Leo, a 19-year-old trans man from Michigan, above.
