No word yet on who will replace him.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Peter Tonstad, interim CEO for Tidal, has parted way with the company. “We are thankful to Peter for stepping in as interim CEO and wish him the best for the future,” a representative of Jay Z's streaming service told the paper. A replacement has not yet been named.

Tonstad was filling in for the ex-ex-CEO, Andy Chen. When Chen stepped down in April, the company issued another statement: "Tonstad has a better understanding of the industry and a clear vision for how the company is looking to change the status quo. He's streamlining resources to ensure talent is maximized to enhance the customer experience. We've eliminated a handful of positions and refocused our company-wide talent to address departments that need support and cut redundancies."
