The second single from Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly, "The Blacker the Berry," is coming back to haunt him. Photographer Giordano Cipriani, who shot the song's artwork—a picture depicting a mother breastfeeding two children, captured on a 2011 trip to Africa—has filed suit against the Compton MC for using the image without his permission. Bossip reports that Cipriani is seeking $150,000 for every time the image was used (in the artwork, on Facebook, in press, on the official YouTube clip of the song, etc.), in addition to the cost of his legal fees. In the lawsuit, Lamar along with Top Dawg Entertainment, Interscope, and Aftermath are named as defendants. Lamar has not yet commented.
