Snoop Dogg was stopped at Lamezia Terme airport in Calabria, Italy today when agents found $422,000 in cash. This was a bit of a sottaceto (Italian for pickle) as travelers moving across EU borders must declare more than $11,000. But evidently Snoop was too busy - or just angry from having to give a urine sample to Swedish police - to do whatever it is people normally do when travelling with nearly half a million dollars.

According to ANSA, half of the money was seized under money laundering laws. Time reports that the money could be returned, with a fine as decided by the courts.
