Less than an hour into the MTV's 2015 Video Music Awards show, Nicki Minaj has put not one, but two high-profile tiffs to rest. First she hugged and made up with Taylor Swift, and while picking up her moon man statue for the Best Hip-Hop Video award, she shared a few words with host Miley Cyrus, who had less than kind things to say during a recent interview with the New York Times.
After a hardy shout-out to her pastor, Lydia, she said: "Back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me in the press. What's good, Miley?!"
Hard to say if this was staged or not, as Miley looked shocked but sounded prepared: "I lost this award in 2008 and I was fine with it. Whatever! Because it's not that big a deal. It's just an award and I persevered."
UPDATE AUGUST 30, 2015 11:57PM: A representative from MTV confirmed that Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus' spat was not staged. See the tweet below.
