Kyle Recruits Chance The Rapper For “Remember Me?”

Partners on Surf reunite.

September 29, 2015

Chance the Rapper loves to collaborate: today he showed up crooning the hook on Kyle's "Remember Me?" The song sounds like a wounded rebuke to an inattentive parent: last year you was Hindu, and the year before it was Buddhist/ To keep from buying me clothes I bet you'd probably be a nudist. In the second verse, Kyle warns, don't try to eat with me now if you couldn't starve with me then. On Twitter, the rapper called the track "one of the hardest songs I ever had to write."

These two MCs appeared together earlier this year on the Social Experiment's Surf. Kyle's Smyle album arrives Friday. Read FADER's cover story on Chance.
