T-Pain Returned To NPR For Another Concert

He played a new song along with some old favorites.

December 09, 2015

T-Pain's 2014 concert at NPR got a lot of people newly excited about a talent that had been hiding in plain sight for nearly a decade. He made another appearance at NPR recently for a longer set. During the first performance, T-Pain was only accompanied by a keyboard player; this time he scaled up with two backing vocalists and a bassist. He worked his way through some of the oldies—and a cover of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come"—and unveiled a new track, an affectionate ballad titled "Officially Yours." Look for that around the 3:30 mark, and watch the whole show above.
