Stefano Gabbana posted several photos of D&G's new hijabs and abayas on Instagram today. Acording to Dazed, the designer discussed his plans for the line in the summer of 2015. "I'm really fascinated with the Middle East and we've just completed a prêt-a-porter collection of abayas and sheylas," he noted at the time. "Pieces have some lace, embroidery and some prints, but not too much. They will be available in the UAE this October."
Style.com/Arabia announced the completion of the line today, adding that pieces are made of "sheer georgette and satin weave charmeuse fabrics and include copious lace details along hems." Check out more photos below.
