Most of U.K. producer Darq E Freaker's beats are menacingly bass-heavy, and his latest offering "Spin A Man" is no different—but this time, he offsets his low-riding, sub-shaking production with double-time bars from veteran MC D Double E. It might be hitting just days after D Double's head-spinning new single "Like This," but it's much slower, darker, more brooding territory for the rapidfire MC.

Taken from an upcoming Darq E Freaker project, "Spin A Man" is also an example of the beatmaker stepping out of his comfort zone, as he explained to The FADER over email: "I thought pairing D Double spitting double time with a more American beat would be a cool way of placing him in a new sonic environment without compromising his character. When working with different vocalists, placing the same character into a new realm is something I try to do." Listen below.
