Wiz Khalifa is set to appear on Ebro's Beats1 radio show in promotion of his new album that comes out tomorrow. Ebro decided to kick off the interview by asking about his Twitter dustup with Kanye West, which Wiz characterized as "a misunderstanding."

Wiz echoed Kanye's earlier comments that all was well and said that the two "talked man to man and it's straight."

"If it would've happened earlier in my career," he explained. "If there was somebody who has a voice and super powers with their abilities and they were talking about waves and nobody knew what it was, I would've done the exact same thing. I think that it mattered a little bit more now because now I have super powers as well. I just use my powers for good. That particular comment wasn't to slight him at all. I explained it to him, it was more or less criticism. We all take and give criticism and that's where it came from."

"I'm happy it was a misunderstanding," he added in a second preview clip.

As far as a Kanye/Wiz collaboration, that's something that appears to be possible in the future. He said that he was "open" to the possibility and that the pair had briefly discussed it.

Watch the preview above and listen to the interview when it airs at 3-5 p.m. PST.
