Kendrick Lamar is nominated for 11 awards at tonight's Grammys. In recent interviews, the MC announced his intention to emerge victorious. "I want to win them all," he told Billboard. "It's bigger than me. When we think about the Grammys, only Lauryn Hill and Outkast have won album of the year. This would be big for hip-hop culture at large."
Photos surfaced on Twitter today which allegedly preview the MC's planned performance at tonight's event. The pictures include a shot of Kendrick rapping in front of an outline of continental Africa labelled "Compton," and a group of men in chains carrying a coffin.
The Grammys air tonight at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. Other performers include Rihanna, Adele, and the Weeknd.
