Reese Channels ‘96 In “Freak Nique” Video

“if you have never been to Atlanta this is going to make you want to slide thru...like its 96”

Atlanta's Reese channels the year 1996 in the video for "Freak Nique," the latest visual off his last tape DSNRTRAPN2. Dressed in a red striped top (perhaps from A$AP Rocky's Guess collection?) and a pair of well-worn in denim overalls, the rapper/skater makes the rounds—hitting porches, back yards, the swap meet, parking lots, Magic City, etc.—singing the praises of his city's women. Shorty from the suburb but she fuck with Jeezy, he raps, I need hot girl, like '99 Weezy.

"If you have never been to Atlanta, this is going to make you want to slide through—like its '96," he explained in an email to The FADER.
