The beginning of Rihanna's ANTI world tour has been marked by a quick Drake appearance and some impressive vocal stylings from a fan. The tour's schedule stretches into late August, with a lengthy European leg that was advertised with support by Big Sean and The Weeknd.
But today, it was rumored on Twitter that The Weeknd was backing out of the tour. According to reps for Rihanna and The Weeknd, he will not be joining the tour for the 25+ scheduled dates. In a statement by Live Nation, forwarded to The FADER by reps for both artists, the company said, "Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international Anti World Tour."
