Dilly Dally Are Stylish Shut-Ins For “Snakehead” Music Video

Meta-grunge melancholy.

March 28, 2016

Dilly Dally's new video for “Snakehead,” premiered at Stereogum, combines self-referential internal monologue with twentysomething around-the-house ennui. The plot is pure frustrated daily ambition: the band's ambivalent between passing the time with sex fantasies and calling up friends, while letting you know they're bored of making the music video you're watching. It's pure restlessness, the feeling of having nothing to do but that you should be doing something, visualized. The song rocks very hard, too. Watch it above and read the band's GEN F profile here.
