Houston's historic downtown district and H-Town-based design firm Core Design Studios have partnered to celebrate the city with banners quoting notable Houstonians such as Beyoncé and the late Fat Pat, HipHopDX points out. The installation, titled "Figurative Poetics" features quotes from Houston poets, visual artists, and musicians. One banner, pictured above, quotes Beyoncé's ""Run The World (Girls)", while another banner honors Houston rap legend Fat Pat's anthemic "Tops Drop". The banner installation will be up for the next two years. See Fat Pat's "Figurative Poetics banner below and peep Houston Chronicle for more pictures of the installation.
