Big Boi Is Plotting An E.P. With Killer Mike

An Outkast and Run The Jewels collaboration is in the works.

August 23, 2016

Any collaboration will be released after Big Boi puts out his next solo album. Speaking to Spin, one half of Outkast confirmed that he is working on a project with Killer Mike and that they are "halfway done" with it. Describing what they have recorded so far as “some of my best work to date,” Big Boi added that logistically it's proving tough to finish. “Killer Mike is busy as hell,” he said. “I mean, he’ll come straight from the airport and go into the studio and bust on two or three records and come back again the next day. We’re just trying to put as many ideas out there as possible.”

There are no confirmed plans or release dates for either this E.P. or Big Boi's next solo album. The Dungeon Family duo have worked together many times before, most recently when Big Boi turned up on Run The Jewels's "Banana Clipper."
