Billy "Spaceman" Patterson played with Miles Davis, Sly Stone, the Bomb Squad, and now Frank Ocean. The guitarist was listed in the credits for Ocean's two recent albums Blonde and Endless. Pitchfork recently spoke with Spaceman on the phone where he detailed his time working on the tunes. On the albums he played acoustic and electric guitar and guitar synth.

"There's a lot of stuff we recorded that I still haven't heard yet," he told the website. The guitarist said they would record for 14+ hour long sessions where they were "creating continually." He also compared Ocean to Miles Davis.

"We recorded a lot of music," he said.
