Pusha T has emerged as one of hip-hop's leading voices in this election, pledging his support for Hillary Clinton through limited-edition shirts and a special concert giveaway for voters who register on Clinton's website. The Virginia rapper also joined Tim Kaine on the campaign trail, and discussed what he feels are the central issues of this election: mass incarceration and criminal justice reform.
On Tuesday, Pusha T released a public service announcement regarding California's Prop 64, which allows adults over the age of 21 to grow, consume, and possess small amounts of marijuana for recreational use. “If California’s Prop 64 passes, no one will ever be incarcerated for marijuana again,” Push says in the video.
