Gucci Mane On Collaborative Album With Drake: “Hopefully At The Top Of The Year We Can Get It Together”

Gucci discussed Shawty Lo’s death, his new album, and more on The Breakfast Club.

Gucci Mane stopped by The Breakfast Club on Friday morning as part of his New York City press run for The Return of East Atlanta Santa. The Atlanta rapper discussed his love for Malcolm Gladwell's writing, his engagement to Keyshia Ka'oir, and his collaboration album with Drake which they've dubbed The 6'ers.

"As far as working on the actual 6'ers album, I done sent him some ideas and he sent me, but it ain't the right time," Gucci said. "He working on that More Life album, my album dropped, so hopefully top of the year we can get on top of it." Gucci and Drake collaborated in June on "Back On Road," and the Toronto artist is featured on The Return of East Atlanta Santa.
